Impressions of previous events:
The first 2001 V.D.P. freecard swap meet was held in Beusichem near Culemborg. The 8th freecard catalog was presented there by chairman Rene Klompmaker. Also there was an interesting auction of scarce freecards and other freecard memorabilia and more than 100 collectors were present with many thousands of duplicate cards.

On July 7th and 8th of 2000 the 19th TVR Continental Meeting took place. The most interesting part was the event on Friday July 7th, which brought the TVRiders to the race circuit of Zolder in Belgium. The photo below gives an idea on the variety of older TVR's that visit this event annually. We hoped for sunny weather, but we had a full day of rain just like in his picture taken a few years ago.
However in 2001 on the 20th anniversary of the event we had a beautiful but extremely hot day (July 6) and all convertibles could leave to hood down all day. The various participants made excessive use of the modified circuit and in spite of the temperature we did not see any overheating engines. Many owners were present with some nice Tuscan Speed Sixes in various colours like orange, yellow and green. These are really beautiful cars. No signs of any Tamora then yet......... but these turned up in 2002 for the first time and returned again in 2003.
