Purpose of this site
On this page I want to give the visitors of my website an explanation of why I have been building and maintaining this website.
The main purpose is to show other collectors what I have been collecting for many years:
- car advertising postcards in general and of specific makes like new Beetle & Mini, PT Cruiser, Viper, Smart etc.
- TVR roadtest reports and press portfolios
- advertising freecards and rack cards
- venue cards of cafes and restaurants and other location specific freecards
- car stamps.
I also like to get in contact with collectors that share the same hobby and because Internet is such a fantastic medium to get worldwide contacts I have developed a virtual car brochure collectors directory which people can join when they give me the necessary information to make an entry in the list.
Visitors that like to trade any items that they can offer me of the type of material I collect are invited to send me an e-mail by clicking in the right hand top corner. You then can write me a message and I will try to reply to you as soon as possible.
Finally I also started a small business venture as I am offering a small selection of professional materials that can be used to safely store and present your valuable postcards of various sizes. This can be found by entering CPS in the main menu.
