The production of the Smart minicar has been judged by many as a gamble for the founders of this company. However it seems to be a success even though many of these cars were sold for the use as a rolling advertising object by companies, hotels, shops etc. With the power of Daimer Benz behind it and the possibility for an extension of the line it is likely that these cars are here to stay. The roadster introduced in 2003 is the living proof that the range is extended with an even more interesting model.
Specially for the target group of the Smart car many freecards have been issued and as I am collecting these I like to share them with other collectors worldwide in order to make a listing that is as complete as possible. I earlier made similar pages with all the New Beetle and New Mini cards that have been issued since 1998.
